Water Babies

Water babies taster session

First off, the water babies staff have excellent communication thought out, emails, letters and phone calls was all made with lots of information to put me at ease. After reading up on Water Babies I was a bit worried about Lexie being dunked underwater on the first session. After finding out babies can hold their breath when they go under I was put at ease.

When on arrival the staff was really friendly, gave me a happy nappy to pop on and I met the instructor which helped me and four other moms get in one by one.

We was talked though each part and shown how to do it, and really put at ease. I loved how it was a small class and very one to one.

Lessons cost between £12.00 and £15.75 and are slightly more expensive because they invest a lot in training there instructors (at least 120 hours over ten days) and pay to hire special warm water pools and each lesson is highly structured, with clearly visible results.

It’s definitely amazing seeing you baby have a fabulous time spalshing around and having fun, without the fear of going under and getting upset. The session was really calm and Lexie really enjoyed her time swimming about.

Water babies is amazing on showing you how to introduce your baby to the water and gives you everything you need to turn your baby into a confident and happy water baby. The session will equip baby with vital life saving skills and give them the foundation for becoming a confident swimmer later in life.
