Babytec Travel Steriliser – Compact and quick, just what you need!

babytec-steriliser-in-use_0I have just had the travel steam steriliser made by babytec to review. When you need to take it anywhere you invert the main part of the steriliser and it makes it very compact and ready to take anywhere with ease.

I really liked the idea of this and was very excited to use it as I have a 4 bottle cold water microwavable steriliser and was thinking about getting an electric one.

It is very compact and takes minimum room on the work surface and comes with a measuring jug for the water which is brilliant, its extremely easy to use and clean you literally empty the water and wipe the bottom free of all water. You load the steriliser with 50ml of water and press the start button and the contents will be sterile and ready for use in approximately 11 minutes, perfect if you are in a hurry and I usually am!

I have dr browns anti colic bottles and unfortunately I cannot fit 2 bottles at a time into this sterilser as there is an anti colic chamber inside the bottle which is too big to fit more than 1 lot in the steriliser. I had no problems with other bottles at all though and to be honest it wouldn’t be as compact if it was designed to fit the Brown’s bottles, which is defeating the object of this smart little steriliser.

babytec1It’s recommended retail price of £23.99 is very reasonable for this great product.

I would reccomend this product to anyone who does not use Dr Browns anti colic bottles exclusively.
